Camping in North Wales

There are 10 well spaced pitches for both large frame and smaller tents near Llyn Gweryd some with hook ups for light and fridge only (5 amp limit), toilets, showers, drinking water points, laundry and drying facilities. Due to this lake being close to the main fishing lake groups are expected to be quiet! On Llyn Ewan there are a further 9 pitches without hook up, with space to play with a ball for families and close access to pleasure fishing.

Large groups and DOE can be accommodated in the main hay field where there is open pitching for large groups – these areas are more noise tolerant – but no loud music.

Please note in addition 20 all weather lakeside "bivvy" pitches are available on Llyn Gweryd for 24 hour carp fishing only.

Camp Fires for Welsh Evening Warmth:

Fire pit hire is available - NO OTHER FIRES allowed to safe guard our woodlands.

If you would like a campfire this is now possible - you can hire a fire pit for £5 first night and £3 per extra night. You must purchase logs from us at £4 a bag including kindling and firelighters to get you going!! These may not be used by anglers on the wood bank of Gweryd Lake where it is still strictly no fires - gas bbqs and cookers permitted. You might even want to catch a trout for your supper which we can now offer - see our fishing pages.

Self Catering

Static Caravans:

The two Llyn Ewan holiday homes are sited on the lakeside. Pleasure anglers and families particularly will enjoy this fabulous setting on a gem of a pleasure lake.

Offering accommodation for up to six in Llyn Ewan 1 and five in Ewan 2, each offers one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a further double in the lounge area. Equipment includes :

• Fully equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave and fridge.
• Colour TV
• Heating
• Duvets, pillows and blankets – you simply need to bring or hire bed linen.

The House holiday home is conveniently situated for walkers, mountain bikers, horse riders and anglers between the lakes in a private position with lovely views.

Touring Caravan:

In addition we can offer one smaller more basic touring caravan for up to three located on Llyn Gweryd. This is equipped for up to three and offers cooker and electric connection.

Bivvy Huts:

Two "Bivvy" Huts (left) sited on Llyn Gweryd providing simple bunkhouse accommodation – a basic wooden building, warm and dry with two single beds, table, chairs and electric light in each. You will need your own sleeping bag and cooking equipment. A toilet block is close by.

Bed & Breakfast

Bed & Breakfast and Bunk House Style Rooms Two simple twin bedrooms and one double with a loft bed, offering tea and coffee making facilities maybe booked as full B&B or bunk house style with separate breakfast charge . Guests have the use of a TV lounge which large groups can use to extend max number to 9 to sleep bunk house style. For those on an outdoor activity holiday there are laundry and drying facilities available. One room is wheelchair accessible and there are disabled toilet and shower facilities .

Evening meals, lunches and packed lunches can be provided. Dogs are permitted by prior arrangement.
